Who we are

Visiting the website
When you visit MATCHU.com, our hosting provider GoDaddy processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the time of your visit. We need this to deliver the website and keep it secure. These server logs are kept for 30 days and are used for nothing else. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a working, secure website.
Your store choice
To send you to the right MATCHU store, the website suggests a country based on your browser's time zone and language. This happens in your browser. If you confirm or change the country, your choice is saved in your browser's local storage under the name matchu-cc. It is never sent to us. You can remove it at any time by clearing your browser data.
Quote requests
If you ask for a quote, we receive your name, company, email address, phone number (if given), country, the quantity and your message. The form sends them to us by email through our own web server. We use these details only to reply to you and to prepare a quote. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before a possible agreement. We keep quote requests for 24 months, unless they lead to an order, in which case the legal retention periods for our records apply.
Our MATCHU stores
Buy buttons take you to one of our country stores. The privacy policy of that store applies there. The links contain a code that tells the store you came from MATCHU.com and which page you came from. This code contains no personal data.
No tracking
MATCHU.com does not use analytics, advertising or social media cookies. Fonts and the 3D library are hosted by us, so your browser does not contact other companies for them. If this changes, we will update this page and ask for your permission where the law requires it.
Who we share data with
Only with parties that help us run the website and handle email: GoDaddy (hosting and the mailbox that sends the quote form), Mimecast (email security) and Microsoft 365 (email). They may only use the data to provide their service to us. We never sell your data.
Your rights
You can ask us to see, correct or delete your personal data, to limit its use, to receive it in a usable format, or object to its use. Send your request to info@matchusports.nl. We respond within one month. If you are not happy with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) or the authority in your own country.
